Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting's window of opportunity at Bayern Munich has begun to dwindle with the arrival of Harry Kane and a sensational goal-scoring display from Matisse Tere. The striker has made nine appearances in all competitions this season, making just two starts in total for Rekordmeister as Kane and Ter occupy the majority of the time up front. However, Ter also received time as a winger due to his attacking versatility, a luxury afforded to Thomas Tuchel.

Choupo-Moting's current contract with Bayern runs until June 2024, but the club could sell him during the January transfer window. Bayern are willing to sell the Cameroon international if a good enough offer comes in, according to Toby Altshaffer and Christian Falk of Sport Bild (via @iMiaSanMia). If no satisfactory offer is received, the club are more than happy to let the striker complete the remainder of his contract and leave as a free agent during the summer transfer window at the end of this season.

Choupo-Moting is still highly admired by the club, but they are simply keeping a close eye on offers that would be equally beneficial to the player and the club. He hopes to get more playing time and the club certainly wouldn't mind seeing some financial reward to achieve that.

With 17 goals and 4 assists in all competitions last season, and 9 goals and 5 assists last season, Ciobo has proven that he can be a reliable offensive player, even if he is used to playing as a substitute behind others. . Bayern didn't have a true striker last season, but in his first few seasons at the club, he played as Robert Lewandowski before Polish ace Robert Lewandowski eventually left for Barcelona. Ski's substitute did a great job in terms of goals and assists.
